Trees to be picked up

CONCORD TOWNSHIP — Concord Township will begin picking up Christmas trees on Monday, Jan. 4 and will continue until Jan. 19.

Trees are taken to Miami County Sanitary Engineering and are later ground into mulch, so decorations must be removed and plastic bags are not necessary. The township staff will be around once or twice a week to collect trees, but residents may call the office and leave a message to ensure pick—up in outlying areas.

No other brush can be taken at this time. For more information, call 339—1492.
