• RANDOLPH PRESENTATION: Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church is sponsoring a presentation on “A Historical Perspective on the Randolph Narrative and the Politics of Division” by Larry Hamilton at the Piqua Public Library at 7 p.m. Greater Love MBC worships in the building that was constructed by Randolph Freedmen on Park Avenue in the 1880s. The Randolph Freedmen Exhibit, is on display at the library through today. Hamilton is willing to meet with and view the Randolph exhibit with visitors prior to his presentation in the Helen Louis Room on the main floor of the Library. The presentation will offer a historical background to the arrival of the largest group of manumitted slaves to the Upper Miami Valley and a focus upon the resolution of those acting in fear to deny their “ownership identity” within the region.

• FISH OR CHICKEN: Fish and or chicken tenders will be offered at the Tipp City American Legion Post 586. This $8 meal comes with French fries, hush puppies, coleslaw and dessert Serving begins at 6 p.m.

• CHICKEN FRY: A chicken fry dinner will be offered from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill VFW Post 6557, 7578 W. Fenner Road, Ludlow Falls. The dinner will include French fries and macaroni salad for $7 and up. Chicken livers are also available.

• SPAGHETTI SUPPER: Troy Post 43 Baseball will offer an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 3-7 p.m. at the Legion Hall, 622 S. Market St., Troy. The menu includes spaghetti, salad bar, bread, dessert and drinks for $7.75 for adults and $4 for those 13 and younger. Proceeds go to Troy Post 43 Baseball.

• 5K: A Food Steps 5K will be offered at 9 a.m. at Lowry Track Complex, 7640 Milton-Potsdam Road, West Milton. The fee is $25 and proceeds will benefit the Bulldog Bags program, which provided nourishing food for students over the weekend at Milton-Union Elementary School. • SOUP-ER BOWL: Souper Bowl III, a fundraiser for the Tippecanoe Historical Society, will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 11 W. Walnut St., Tipp City. For $20, the buyer will receive a soup bowl to keep, handmade by local artist Sally Watson. Also their choice of potato, vegetable beef or chicken corn soup and cornbread, cookies and drink. • SHARE A MEAL: The First United Church of Christ, 120 S. Market St., Troy, will offer its Thanksgiving feast from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. The menu will include sliced turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, pumpkin pie and beverages. Carry-outs will be available at 12:30 p.m., as quantities last. This program is free to anyone wishing to participate and are in need of a warm nourishing meal. Use the Canal Street entrance where the church is handicapped accessible.

• OPEN HOUSE: The Tipp City Seniors will have an open house from 2-5 p.m. at their new location at 528 N. Hyatt St., Tipp City.

• DONKEY BASKETBALL: The Miami East-MVCTC FFA Chapter is hosting a Donkey Basketball at 4 p.m. in the Miami East Board of Education gymnasium. Doors will open at 3 p.m. Concessions will be available. There will be free donkey rides for all children under 12 years of age. Pre-sale tickets are $6 and tickets at the door will be $8. Children 6 and under are free. • LEGO: Join others for Legos Galore! at the Troy-Miami County Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Bring your imagination and enthusiasm for building. Staff will provide the LEGO and some ideas as well. • DINNER: Hoffman United Methodist Church, 201 S. Main St., West Milton, will serve its annual Election Day Dinner, held consistently for over 100 years. • VETERANS BREAKFAST: The November veterans breakfast at the Miami Valley Veterans Museum will include Sean Tracy, StoryPoint project founder and creator of The Veterans Honor Project, at 9 a.m. at 107 W. Main St., Troy, second floor. The Piqua Lewis Boyer Chapter of the DAR will provide a full breakfast. The ’67 Quilters will once again give a veteran a homemade quilt. The Ostomy Support Group’s meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month except January and July-September. The meeting will be held in the hospital lower level conference rooms. Programs provide information and support to ostomates and their families, and are beneficial to health care professionals as well. • MEET ANNIE: “Annie the Highway Cow” will have a meet and greet from 1-4 p.m. at the Tractor Supply Co., 20 S. Stanfield Road, Troy. Meet Annie and her little brothers Chuck and Bruno and take photos and purchase a T-shirt, with proceeds to help pay for the rescue animals’ care.

• PANCAKE BREAKFAST: A pancake breakfast and garage sale will be offered at the A.B. Graham Memorial Center, 8025 W. US Route 36, Conover. Nov. 11

• VETERANS DAY: The Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy will present the Troy Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The event honors veterans from all the military services and the public is invited to attend this patriotic ceremony.

• EUCHRE TOURNAMENT: The Pleasant Hill VFW Post 6557, 7578 W. Fenner Road, Ludlow Falls, will have a Euchre tournament beginning at 1 p.m. for $3. Sign up at noon.

• ORGAN CONCERT: Church organists at St. Paul’s Evangelical & Reformed Church, 500 N. Downing St., Piqua, will present a free concert open to the public at 2 p.m.
