Tee times for the first round of the Miami County Open Golf Championship Saturday at Echo Hills are as follows:


9:04: Rick Szabo, Jim Sass, Mike Bosse.


9:12: Jim Howard, Ron Moore.

9:20: Andrew Lindeman, Brad Vath, Ryan Ormberg.

9:28: Dave Westfall, Doug Harter, Jay Dee Denson.


9:36: Jason Thompson, Brad Reese, Jeff Jennings.

9:44: Matt Maurer, Justin Weber, Dan Sutherly.

9:52: Ray Stuchell, Brian Robbins, Ben Gover.

win Walker Cup

Former Piqua High School teammates Brian Robbins and Cale Green teamed up to win the Walker Cup last weekend.

The duo had rounds of 65 and 67 for a 134 total and three-shot victory.

Justin Weber and Brian Deal were second with 67-70—137 and Chad Sherrill and Kasey Carter were third with 72-70—142.

Tom Christy and Mike Curtis teamed up to win the Senior Division.

They shot back-to-back rounds of 68 for a two-shot victory.

Finishing second were Phil Kazer and Dave Larger with rounds of 70 and 68 for a 138 total.

Wounded Warriors

event at Echo Hills

This is the 100th Anniversary of Veteran’s Day and to celebrate and honor our veterans a 5K Walk/Run is being offered on Nov. 10th at 9 a.m. at Echo Hills Golf Course.

The cost is $25 and includes a t-shirt. All money will be donated to Wounded Warrior. Over the last seven years, this event has donated $14,000 to Wounded Warrior.

They cannot do this without the support of the local American Legion and VFW.

You may preregister at Echo Hills Golf Course.

Family, friends, veterans come join us for this great event. Coffee, water, fruit available to all participants.
