Brian Deal was low gross with 72 in the Echo Hills Labor Day Association Tournament.

Mike Bosse was second with 74 and Brian Robbins and Dave Barnhart tied for third with 76.

Brandon Hostetter was low net with 61.

Scott E. Rasor was second with 63, while Ron Pearson Sr. and Don Larger tied for third with 64.

Judy Williams was low gross for women with 92, while Renie Huffman was low net with 68.

Three teams card

29 at Echo Hills

Three teams shared low gross in the Thursday Industrial League’s closing night scramble at Echo Hills.

Shooting 29 were Team Brownlee-Wray (Brian Deal, Mike Butsch, Dave Barnhart, Jim Mackellar) Team Jennings’ Construction (Mike Lavey, Tim Jacomet, Ryan Pearson, Ron Pearson Sr.) and Team Atlantis Sportswear (Dave Novotny, Brandon Hostter, Kyle Reardon, Joe (Curly) Hostetter.

Low net with 19 was Team Paul Sherry Chrysler (Dan Penrod, Mick Leffel, Trey Hostetter, Rick Krejci), while finishing second with 21.75 was Team Craycon Homes (Mike Mohr, Dave Selsor, Chip Jessup, Scott Zimpher).

Pearson cards

41 at Echo Hills

Cindy Pearson was low gross with 41 in the Tuesday Ladies League at Echo Hills.

Kathie Isenhouer was second with 47.

Delma Grissom was low net with 30, while Karen Nickol and Renie Huffman tied for second with 34.

Kathie Huemmer was low putts with 14 and Linnea Thomas was second with 16.

Optimist to

hold contest

The Piqua Optimist Club will hold their annual TriStar Soccer Contest on Sept. 19 at Pitsenbarger Park.

Registration is free and will run from 10-11:45 a.m.

Boys and girls ages 6 to 13 are invited to demonstrate their soccer skills and compete for trophies in their age groups.

Participants are eligible for drawings for two gift cards.
