WEST MILTON — The Piqua boys cross country team had two runners compete at the Bob Schul Invitational Saturday.

Tyler McName finished 256th in 21:56.5; while Josh Kimble finished 261st in 22:02.0.

Spitzer, Cats

win race

WEST MILTON — Joe Spitzer of Versailles and the Houston boys won the D-II, III race at the Bob Schul Invitational Saturday.

Spitzer was clocked 15:58.5.

Houston won with 121 points, while Minster was second with 124.

Houston’s top seven included Tristin Freistheler, 12, 17:15.2; Ethan Knouff, 16, 17:24.0; Parker Cox, 26, 17:50.6; Jacob Slater, 30, 17:59.5; Dakota Francis, 37, 18:09.1; Blake Jacobs, 51, 18:23.8; and Patrick Meiring, 78, 19:08.0.

Versailles finished eighth.

The rest of the Tigers top seven included Brooks Blakeley, 31, 18:01.2; Stuart Baltes, 72, 19:00.3; Adam Gehret, 86, 19:12.1; Caden Schulze, 102, 19:26.9; Xavier Grillot, 103, 19:27.1; and Ryan Subler, 106, 19:29.2.

Russia was 14th.

The Raiders top seven included Gavin George, 38, 18:09.3; Zachary Bell, 45, 18:19.1; Andrew DeLoye, 49, 18:23.2; Jonathan Bell, 125, 19:50.8; Nicholas Caldwell, 146, 20:11.1; Ajay Seger, 168, 20:39.5; and Will Magoto, 178, 20:50.9.

Covington was 19th.

The Buccs top seven included Dylan Kelly, 65, 18:51.6; Nathan Lyle, 71, 18:59.7; Hunter Brumbaugh, 87, 19:13.0; Bennett Welborn, 99, 19:22.6; Fletcher Metz, 142, 20:08.8; Ian Benedict, 148, 20:16.8; and Zane Barhorst, 177, 20:50.3.

Newton was 26th.

The Indians top seven included Curtis Shellenberger, 92, 19:15.7; Tristen Benedict, 100, 19:22.9; Owen Via, 129, 19:55.8; Jacob Moore, 163, 20:37.5; Colton Flanary, 294, 24:11.8; Toby Hunt, 296, 24:15.9; and Tristan Stanhope, 305, 24:42.9.

Bradford was 28th.

Railroader runners included Jay Roberts, 66, 18:52.6; Jackson Moore, 109, 19:32.0; Kurt Hoover, 174, 20:44.4; Shane Bryan, 218, 21:50.2; Jared Shellabarger, 278, 23:42.4; and Jordan Shellabarger, 282, 23:55.5.

Lehman was 31st.

East runners included Gavin Horne, 38, 17:23.7; Taton Bertsch, 76, 18:30.2; Alex Hayes, 90, 19:06.9; Garrett LeMaster, 91, 19:07.4; Keagan Carsey, 112, 20:02.3; Michael Blair, 128, 20:36.9; and Adam Bensman, 130, 20:53.0.

The Lady Tigers top seven included Megan Rismiller, 11, 20:32.6; Kenia McEldowney, 14, 20:47.9; Liz Watren, 36, 22:15.6; Maria Mangen, 44, 22:27.4; Lauren Menke, 45, 22:27.8; Emma Peters, 52, 22:39.7; and Kennedy McEldowney, 54, 22:44.0.

Russia finished fourth.

The Lady Raiders top seven runners included Becca Seger, 8, 20:18.9; Megan Frazier, 17, 21:12.6; Claire Meyer, 22, 21:21.7; Anna Fiessinger, 56, 22:45.4; Emma DeLaet, 69, 23:05.5; Katelyn Monnin, 81, 23:24.7; and Clare Caldwell, 85, 23:33.0.

Covington finished fifth.

The Lady Buccs top seven included Paige Boehringer, 12, 20:43.7; Ashlyn Plessinger, 29, 21:43.2; Danielle Alexander, 48, 22:32.6; Emma Dammeyer, 70, 23:056; Chelsea Ford, 71, 23:07.5; Kelsey Dysinger, 84, 23:28.0; and Alexis Meyer, 142, 25:33.0.

Bradford finished ninth.

Karmen Knepp led local runners with a fourth-place finish in 20:04.6; while Skipp Miller was 13th in 20:47.3.

Other Railroader runners included Olivia Daugherty, 95, 23:53.1; Mercedes Smith, 113, 24:42.7; and Chelsea Gill, 123, 25:05.8.

Houston finished 11th.

The Lady Wildcats top seven included Hollie Voisard, 18, 21:13.4; Morgan Ely, 24, 21:27.9; Danielle Stephenson, 83, 23:27.6; Addie White, 137, 25:30.2; April Stammen, 180, 27:31.0; Kiersten Oberdorf, 198, 28:51.4; and Andrea Mantor, 202, 29:05.1.

Lehman finished 14th
