A number of swimmers advanced to this week’s Southwest District swimming meet.
Piqua’s Corinne Tisher advanced in one event and is an alternate in another in girls Division I competition.
Tisher advanced in the 500 freestyle, 5:35.85; and is an alternate in the 100 breaststroke, 1:12.64.
In Division II, Lehman Catholic, Miami East and Versailles all had swimmers advance.
Lehman’s Katie Hemm advanced in the 200 freestyle, 2:17.97.
For Miami East, Meredith Richters advanced in both the 100 breaststroke, 1:09.52; and 200 individual medley, 2:15.42.
Megan Lawson advanced in the 100 backstroke, 1:07.03; and is an alternate in the 200 individual medley, 2:31.64.
McKenna Bollinger advanced in the 500 freestyle, 5:50.33; and the 400 freestyle relay, 4:07.74; and 200 medley relay, 2:02.21 both advanced.
For Versailles, Heather Albers and Emily Kramer both advanced in two events.
Albers advanced in the 50 freestyle, 26.49; and 100 breaststroke, 1:12.26; while Kramer advanced in the 50 freestyle, 26.99; and 100 freestyle, 59.0.
Also advancing were the 200 freestyle relay, 1:48.10; and the 400 freestyle relay, 4:03.60.
Payton Berger is an alternate in the 100 breaststroke, 1:18.0; while the 200 medley relay, 2:08.83 is also an alternate.
On the boys side, there were a number of qualifiers to this week’s D-II district meet.
Lehman Catholic’s Eli Baker advanced in both the 100 freestyle, 54.07; and 100 backstroke, 58.87.
For Versailles, Cole Condon advanced in the 50 freestyle, 23.05; and 100 freestyle, 50.63; while Clint Morgan advanced in the 100 freestyle, 52.88.
Versailles also advanced in the 200 freestyle relay, 1:35.74; and the 400 freestyle relay, 3:40.49.
