To the Editor:
I would like to thank the citizens of Piqua who donated toward our 2017 “Scouting for Food” campaign. Scouts collected 4,517 food items. This food drive helps restock Piqua food pantries. If you would still like to help, you can place food donations in the food barrel at the front of Piqua Kroger through Sunday, April 2. For more information contact Al Fledderman at 773-5330.
The groups that participated this year were: Boy Scout Troops 76, 295 and 344 and Cub Scout Packs 76 and 295 and Girl Scout Troop 32175. These young people worked very hard two weekends. I would like to thank the Piqua Daily Call for their coverage and Piqua Kroger for allowing us to place a food barrel in their store.
