Golf outing a success

To the Editor:

The Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce held its 32nd annual Ambassador Golf Outing at Echo Hills golf course on Monday, July 13th.

On behalf of the Piqua Area chamber, I thank Echo Hills golf professional, Chip Fox, his staff/volunteers and the city of Piqua for their generous support of the event. The course was in excellent condition and Chip took extra efforts to make certain that everything was in order. The luncheon served by Chip, his wife Diane and staff was excellent. Heritage Catering also provided a wonderful evening steak dinner for all to enjoy. We are very appreciative of their contribution, efforts and flexibility.

An event of this size would not be possible without our wonderful sponsors. Many thanks and appreciation to each of you. Our major sponsors are Polysource, Unity National Bank, Harmony Systems & Service, Inc., PSC Crane & Rigging, Miami Valley Steel Service, Hemm’s Glass Shops Inc., Jackson Tube Service, Piqua Concrete Company, Brad Hare, Hartzell, Crayex Corporation, Scott Family McDonald’s, HORAN, Buckeye Insurance Group and Faulkner, Garmhausen, Keister & Shenk. Additional sponsors include Paul Sherry Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & RV, Comfort Inn, Miami Valley Centre Mall, Mulligan’s Pub, Fifth Third Bank, Schirbyz Party Rental and Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.

Lastly, a special thanks to the Piqua Area Chamber Ambassadors Club for running the event, the chamber staff for their organizational efforts and our many supportive hole sponsors.

Thank you to all who took time from their busy schedules to participate in the outing and raise funds for your local Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to seeing you next year.
