Inspections by the Piqua Health Department

Super Station Inc., 8855 N. County Road 25-A, Piqua — Violations from 2/19/16 have not been corrected. Person in charge must have sufficient knowledge of food code to ensure it is being properly followed.

Boxes of food on floor in walk-in freezer. Keep food containers 6-inches off floor at all times.

Date all ready-to-eat TCS foods, i.e. cut lettuce, cut tomatoes, etc., with date opened. Must discard remaining items after seven days.

Utensils and equipment not being properly cleaned. Must wash with soapy water, rinse with clean water and sanitize with either chlorine or Quaternary ammonia. Food employees did not know if sanitizer was present.

The following items need to be cleaned: small reach-in refrigerator, small reach-in freezer and pizza prep unit.

Boxes of single service items on floor. Keep these items at least 6 inches off floor to prevent possible contamination.

Accumulation of old cardboard — store room. Discard.

Remove unused equipment or equipment that is not working to aid cleaning.

The prep sink drain is leaking. Repair.

The are all repeated violations and must be corrected promptly.
