PIQUA — The student of the week, for the week of Oct. 8-12, is freshman Zach Sale, son of Sheri Collins-Sale. Sale was nominated by Spanish teacher Kelsey Treon for being responsible and respectful.
Sale plays football and sings in show choir for Piqua High School. Sale elaborated to me that football is his favorite sport, and he is very proud of his team for going 6-0 this year so far.
After graduation, Sale is planning on attending college and going into an area of the medical field. His favorite subjects are math and science, and his favorite teacher is Angela Ford from the middle school because, “She helped me to do my work instead of goofing off.”
In his free time Sale enjoys, “working on cars and helping around my neighborhood.”
In 10 years, Sale hopes to have a good job and a family. Some of his greatest accomplishments are being a national winner of BMX racing two times.
