PIQUA — Piqua High School student of the Week, during the week of Oct. 1-5 is senior Nickoah Medley. Medley was nominated by Pre-AP English and sophomore English teacher Stacy Falcone for his honesty, courage, citizenship and trustworthiness. Falcone stated, “He has overcome many personal challenges and has chosen to become a better person in spite of them. Nichoah genuinely cares about people and helping people be better.”
Medley lives with guardians Konrad and Megan Modschiedler. Medley’s older brother Konrad is his inspiration in his day-to-day life. Medley’s main goal his senior year is to finish all his classes on top with at least a 3.7 GPA. Medley also wants to end on Varsity football.
Nickoah currently has a job as a cashier at Kroger. He doesn’t plan on going to college after high school, but he does plan on going into the Marines or the Air Force. Falcone stated, “Nickoah is very active with extracurricular activities. He has a way to make everyone feel important to him.”
