UD announces dean’s list

DAYTON — The following local residents made the University of Dayton’s dean’s list for achieving a minimum 3.5 GPA for the spring 2017 semester.

Feitshans earns degree from Butler

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Bethany Feitshans from Tipp City graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis in May. She was a Professional Pharmacy major.

Capital announces student honors

BEXLEY, Ohio— Capital University is pleased to announce its president’s and dean’s list honorees for the spring 2017 semester. The president’s list indicates the highest level of academic distinction. To be named to the president’s list, students must have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.85.

Students named to the president’s list include Spencer Delk of Laura and Kayla Niswonger of Troy.

In order to be named to the Dean’s List, full-time, degree-seeking students must have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5. Kristopher Lee of Piqua has been named to the dean’s list.

Shawnee State announces graduates

PORTSMOUTH — More than 400 Shawnee State University students graduated at this year’s spring commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 6, in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.

Katrina Michelle Griffieth of Troy, a magna cum laude graduate receiving an Associate of Applied Science was among the graduates.

Cowley named to dean’s list

BEREA, Ky. — Zoe Cowley resident of Tipp City has been named to spring 2017 dean’s list at Berea College. A student is named to the dean’s list who achieves a GPA of 3.4 or higher while passing at least four total credits, a course load equivalent to 16 semester hours.
