Oct. 31

DRUG POSSESSION: A deputy cited Andrew Schulz, 33, of Piqua, for fifth degree felony drug possession.

TRAFFIC VIOLATION: Cameron Burch, 19, of Troy, was cited for operation without reasonable control from an incident at Children’s Home Road, Casstown.

Nov. 1

POSSESSION: A deputy cited Steven K.V. Whitt 25, of Casstown, for first degree misdemeanor possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

ASSAULT: A deputy responded to Joe Johnson Chevrolet located at 1375 S. County Rd. 25-A, Troy, for a physical disturbance. Upon arrival, the two male subjects involved were separated by Service staff. After further investigation it was found that a verbal altercation had occurred earlier in the day that resulted in one of the subjects being terminated. The subject that was terminated then began a physical altercation with the other male, striking him several times. The suspect, Zachary Kimrey, 24, of Troy, was arrested and incarcerated at Miami County Jail on an assault charge.

WARRANT: Huber Heights Police Department advised they had a male in custody for an active warrant

out of Miami County. The male, Bradley Evans had an active warrant for probation violation.A deputy met with Huber Heights Police at their Fire Department on State Route 202. The deputy took custody of Bradley and transported him to the Miami County Jail to be scanned. He was then transported to the Miami County Incarceration Facility.

Nov. 2

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A resident in the 1000 block of Maple Street, Concord Twp. advised she found her mailbox damaged this morning. The door had been ripped off and the left side of the box was cracked. No evidence of a hit skip was located. The mailbox was possibly struck by a baseball bat or some other object.

JAIL ISSUE:A deputy responded to the Miami County Jail in reference to a fight between two inmates. After an investigation one female was charged with assault.

BURGLARY: A deputy investigated a report of a break-in of the Big K Mart building outside of Piqua.

RECKLESS OPERATION: A deputy was dispatched on reckless operation of a motor vehicle complaint in the area of 2326 State Rte. 718; Dolphin Club of Troy. Dispatch advised that a red truck with license plate number was all over the roadway, driving through grass and almost wrecking. The reporting party last saw the vehicle near Clopay in Troy. The deputy located the vehicle in the Clopay parking lot and observed the driver to appear intoxicated. After investigation, the driver was cited for driving under suspension, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, and open containers of an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle.
