Students graduate

OXFORD — Miami University awarded 932 degrees to students during fall commencement exercises Friday, Dec. 11, in Millett Hall.

Local students include:

Ling Zhang of Piqua, master of education.

• AKRON — More than 3,600 students made the fall 2015 dean’s list at The University of Akron.

Colleen Powers of Troy; majoring in Marketing Management Program.

Nicholas Sanders of Troy; majoring in Chemical Engineering.

Jaclyn Siefring of Covington; majoring in Biology.

Tara Snipes of Covington; majoring in Information Systems Management.

Casner member of Philosophy Club

ASHLAND — Nicole Casner of Fletcher is a member of Ashland University’s Philosophy Club.

Casner is majoring in nursing.

She is the daughter of Jonathan and Gloria Casner of Fletcher. Casner is a 2014 graduate of Bethel High School.
