Remembering Vietnam veterans at library
WEST MILTON — In observance of Memorial Day and to honor those who gave their lives for this country the Milton-Union Public Library is presenting a Vietnam veterans display during the month of May.
The library would especially like to thank the family of Dale E. Badgley, a local hero, who was killed in action in the Vietnam war. His family has been very generous to share his story with the community.
For more information about this or other programs, call (937) 698-5515 or visit www.mupubliclibrary.org. The library is also in need of bubble wrap and padded envelopes for shipping purposes.
In addition, in response to a patron request, the Milton-Union Public Library has added an additional accessible parking space. The new space features room for a chair lift and is located next to a ramp making the library power chair and wheelchair friendly.
The library looks forward to fulfilling other requests recognized through responses to its 80th anniversary of the library survey.
