MIAMI COUNTY — At their meeting Thursday, the Miami County Commissioners authorized several purchases and contracts.
The commissioners approved two purchases for the Recorder’s Office, including a $1,141 Kodak flatbed scanner attachment.
This attachment will be used with the scanner currently used by the Microfilm Department. Without the attachment, the document feeder could cause damage to fragile documents.
The commissioners also approved the purchase of microfilm and film processing services for the Recorder’s Office at a cost of $4,175.
The commissioners accepted a quote from Lines Unlimited for the installation of new signage and graphics on two new county transit buses. The project is not to exceed $2,300 for both buses.
The commissioners authorized the purchase of two in-car camera systems on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office. The systems will be purchased from WatchGuard at a cost of $10,890.
The board also approved a contract for the painting of Judge Gary Nasal’s office and courtroom at a cost of $4,425.
