Lewis graduates basic training

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — U.S. Air Force Airman Christopher M. Lewis graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Lewis is the son of Billie L. and Kenneth T. Lewis, brother of Sarah M. Lewis, and grandson of Marie A. Lewis, nephew of Donna Eberly, and Donald Lewis, and cousin of Michael J. Hale, all of Piqua. He is also the nephew of Mary Apple of Fort Loramie.

He is a 2011 graduate of Piqua High School, Piqua.
