Thrive Mortgage comes to Troy

TROY — Thrive Mortgage is locating one of its first Ohio offices locally in Troy, recently opening a new office at 1930 Prime Court.

“We’re able to originate, process, and underwrite all the mortgage loans here locally,” branch manager Jason Reedy said. “Our process can be faster and more efficient.”

Reedy has more than 20 years in the mortgage industry, and the new Troy office has a combined 80 years of experience in this industry with the added expertise of Sandy Lockwood, loan originator, and Linda Klum, production assistant.

“Our main market is residential mortgages,” Reedy said. “What sets up apart is our construction loans.”

“We offer a one-time close construction product with as little as 5 percent down for construction financing, FHA, and VA one-time construction close construction projects,” regional manager Adam Galbraith said. In addition to those types of loans, they also offer a full product menu, including conventional and USDA, as well as loans for first-time home buyers or renovation work.

“We are a technology-driven company that allows for easy online applications and electronic e-closing to facilitate the closing process,” Galbraith said.

“Our technology is top of the line when it comes to the mortgage industry,” Reedy said. He said this allows them to be more productive in the process of helping their clients’ home-buying experience.

“We do all types of loans,” Lockwood said. “To offer the best customer service is our goal.”

They are licensed throughout all Ohio, and this office, which is located behind Marion’s Piazza in Troy, will be offering loans to residents in Miami County and other surrounding areas, like Montgomery, Mercer, Auglaize, and Shelby counties.

“Our goal is to create an excellent and smooth home-buying experience,” Reedy said. “The reason we are in this business is to help home-buyers buy the home of their dreams.”
