MIAMI COUNTY — A local man is facing felony drug charges after the Miami County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics-related search warrant at his home this week.
On Thursday, sheriff’s deputies and detectives executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 25 Swailes Road in Concord Township. Items seized included cocaine, hashish, marijuana, Xanax, narcotics paraphernalia, and U.S. currency, according to a press release from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.
Alan James “A.J.” Holter, II, 19, of that address, was taken into custody without incident. Holter was incarcerated in the Miami County Jail on Thursday at 12:35 p.m.
Holter had a warrant for fourth-degree felony trafficking narcotics filed on Wednesday in Miami County Municipal Court in connection with an incident in June. Holter was also charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of Xanax, and felony possession of hashish in connection with the search warrant served on Thursday.
Holter was arraigned on those felony drug possession charges on Friday in Miami County Municipal Court. He is continuing to be held in the Miami County Jail on a total bond of $30,000.
A preliminary hearing for Holter is scheduled for Aug. 22.
