Comfort Inn undergoing renovations

PIQUA — The Mid-American Management Corporation recently announced a $2 million renovation project on the Comfort Inn Miami Valley Centre Mall.

The project will include complete renovation of all guest rooms including new furniture, soft goods and appliances along with public space area, pool area and fitness center. The renovation also will include a reduction in room count from 123 to 82 rooms and 21 suites for a total room count of 103 rooms. Additionally, the exterior will be completely refurbished.

The Comfort Inn Miami Valley Centre Mall, which opened in 1988, is located at 987 E. Ash St., Piqua, on the southwest corner of I-75 and U.S. Route 36. Connected to the Miami Valley Centre Mall, the hotel affords guests access to the 500,000-square-foot, which features such anchor stores as Sears, Elder-Beerman and Dunham’s Sports, as well as a food court, conference rooms, Cinemark Theatre, and more than 50 retail and service outlets.
