Piqua police reports highlights

PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Two juveniles were reportedly fighting in a classroom at the Piqua High School on Nov. 18 at 11:51 a.m. A teacher attempted to break up the fight and was reportedly hit in the head. The teacher stated that it was inadvertent. Both juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct.

A female juvenile reportedly struck another juvenile repeatedly on a school bus in the area of N. Washington Road and Fairfax Avenue on Nov. 19 at 2:49 p.m. The alleged juvenile offender was charged with disorderly conduct.

A student reportedly choked another student on a school bus, causing a medical condition, on Nov. 19 at 3:39 p.m. in the area of Brice Avenue and South Street. The injured student was transported to UVMC. The alleged offender got off of the bus prior to officer arrival. The incident is under investigation.

SUSPICIOUS: There was report of a suspicious complaint involving elderly abuse at the Bent Tree Apartments on Garbry Road on Nov. 18 at 3 p.m.

A subject found an open door at the Upper Valley Community Church after the evening service on Nov. 18 at 8:40 p.m.

BURGLARY: A resident reported hearing someone outside of her home on the 500 block of Riverside Drive and then an alarm at the house went off on Nov. 19 at 12:47 a.m.

There was a report of a burglary on the 1300 block of Washington Avenue on Nov. 19. A television was stolen.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: A subject’s vehicle was hit sometime after 11 p.m. on Nov. 18 on the 700 block of Brice Avenue.

SEX OFFENSE: There was a report of an adult male that sexually assaulted a female juvenile sometime between Nov. 5-7. It was reported on Nov. 19.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: An adult son reportedly broke his mother’s glasses on the 200 block of Fourth Street on Nov. 19 at 7:45 p.m.

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of physical altercation on Boal Avenue on Nov. 19. Charlenea M. Oneal, 33, of Piqua was charged with first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence in connection with that incident.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: Darke County requested that the Piqua police check a location in Piqua for a stolen vehicle on Nov. 20 at the Piqua Village Apartments on Covington Avenue. The vehicle was located.
