Piqua police reports highlights


PIQUA — All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of a dispute between a male subject and a female subject on the 100 block of East Main Street on Nov. 21 at approximately 10:20 a.m. Both claimed the other spit on the other.

UNRULY JUVENILE: There was a report of three white male juveniles between 11-13 years of age going onto a porch on the 700 block of South Wayne Street and causing further damage to a previously cracked window on Nov. 21 between 12:15-1 a.m.

Juveniles were caught throwing eggs at a cousin’s house on Caldwell Street on Nov. 21 at approximately 9:30 p.m. The juveniles were warned for being unruly, and their parents were contacted.

FOUND: A black and blue mountain bike was found near McDonald’s on Ash Street on Nov. 21 at 2:15 p.m.

THEFT: There was a report of a black BMX bike with blue grips being stolen on the 500 block of South Wayne Street on Nov. 21 at 2:40 p.m.

DISTURBANCE: There was a civil dispute regarding property on the 400 block of Young Street on Nov. 21 at approximately 3:20 p.m. A male subject and female subject were both warned for telecommunications harassment. The male subject was then warned for trespassing after vacating the property.

SUSPICIOUS: A caller stated a male subject and female subject were arguing outside on the 600 block of West Greene Street on Nov. 22 at approximately 1:30 a.m. The caller stated the man pulled a gun out on the woman and forced her back into the house. Officers made contact with the residents and found everything to be okay. The subjects were inside for the past few hours and were asleep when officers arrived. Subjects believe the neighbors may have called on them to try to get them in trouble.

ACCIDENT: There was a report of a traffic accident with no injuries on the 3100 block Sioux Drive on Nov. 22 at approximately 11 a.m. A citation was issued for improper backing.

HIT SKIP: A hit skip crash was reported on the 1100 block of Van Way on Nov. 22 that occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 1:20 p.m.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: An officer responded to the report of a criminal damage complaint on the 100 block of South Roosevelt Avenue on Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. An unknown suspect dumped paint on the window of the house sometime between 6-7:30 p.m. on Nov. 22.

CHILD ENDANGERING: A man and woman were reportedly under the influence of alcohol and prescription medication while caring for a four-month-old child on Nov. 22 at approximately 9 p.m. The child was placed with a family member for the night. The Children Services Board will be contacted.
