COVINGTON — On Nov. 7, the Covington-UVCC FFA chapter sent four members to the District Job Interview contest. The members competed against students from Miami, Darke, Preble, Shelby, Montgomery, Auglaize, and Mercer counties.

Members present were senior Tyler Fraley, junior Brock Barga, sophomore Tori Quinter and freshman Connor Sindelir.

In the Job Interview contest each student must complete a resume, cover letter, job application, an actual interview and compose a follow-up letter after the event.

Each grade level is a separate division and there is a special division for first-year FFA members who are upperclassmen.

Highlights from the contest included Quinter placing first in her division. On Dec. 1, Quinter will advance to the State contest held at Ohio State University.
