PIQUA — All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

ACCIDENT: There was an accident with injuries reported in the area of Seidel Parkway and North County Road 25-A on Nov. 2 at approximately 7:20 a.m. A vehicle made an improper lane change, causing an accident. The at-fault driver was cited.

There was a report of a one-vehicle accident on the 2100 block of Echo Lake Drive on Nov. 3 at approximately 11 a.m. The driver was transported to UVMC.

There was a report of an accident on the 400 block of Park Avenue on Nov. 3 at approximately 12:20 p.m. The involved parties signed a crash waiver.

A driver struck two parked cars on the 900 block of Manier Avenue on Nov. 4 at approximately 2:15 p.m. No injuries were reported.

DISTURBANCE: A female subject was warned for disorderly conduct on the 1100 block of Vine Street on Nov. 2 at approximately 4 p.m. following a domestic dispute. Parties involved in the domestic dispute had conflicting stories.

SHOPLIFTING: A female subject was caught shoplifting at Walmart while her accomplice left the store and left the merchandise she was attempting to steal on Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. The female subject was taken to jail as she was at large and from out of state. A warrant was requested for the other female subject. Crystal A. Donnelly, 33, address unknown, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft and fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal trespass and Samantha McDougald, 38, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft in connection with this incident.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Officers were dispatched to a bar fight at Bing’s Place on Weber Street, which ended before the officer’s arrival, on Nov. 2 at 10:45 p.m. Two of the suspects involved were seen walking near the scene. One was arrested for possession of drugs and resisting arrest, and the other was arrested for disorderly conduct. Ashley D. Peters, 32, of Piqua, was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of marijuana, second-degree misdemeanor resisting arrest, fourth-degree felony assault, and minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct and Dominick W. Jennings, 34, of Troy, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.

Two guests were warned for disorderly conduct and asked to leave at the Red Roof Inn and Suites on Scott Drive on Nov. 5 at approximately 4:15 a.m.

BURGLARY: While on patrol, an officer observed a door to a building that appeared to have the glass broken out on the 500 block of South College Street that occurred sometime between Nov. 2 and Nov. 3. No suspects at this time.

A caller advised an unknown individual attempted to gain entry into her residence by kicking in the back door on the 400 block of Brook Street on Nov. 3 sometime between 6-9 p.m.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A vehicle on the 400 block of Young Street was damaged overnight between Nov. 2-3.

A caller said someone threw a rock through his vehicle’s window while he was driving on the 900 block of Candlewood Boulevard on Nov. 3 at 8:50 p.m.

SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of a subject trying to steal scrap metal on the 200 block of Steele Avenue on Nov. 4 at approximately 7:20 a.m. He was arrested on a warrant. More charges are pending.

UNRULY JUVENILE: There was a report of juveniles throwing rocks on the 300 block of South Downing Street on Nov. 4 at 7:45 a.m. An officer checked the area but did not locate the juveniles.

There was a report of juveniles throwing rocks and trying to urinate on a building on South Wayne Street on Nov. 4 at 8:30 a.m. An officer made contact with the juveniles and spoke to their parents. Nothing was reported as damaged at that time.

HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: A vehicle was struck while it was parked behind 311 Drafthouse on North Main Street on Nov. 4 at approximately 1:15 p.m. The suspect vehicle was unknown.
