PIQUA — All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
DISTURBANCE: An officer responded to the report of subjects being disorderly at Family Dollar on Oct. 29 at approximately 10:10 a.m. The subjects were trespassed from the store.
There was a report of two males fighting in the roadway on the 500 block of West High Street on Oct. 29 at 11:40 p.m. Both males were located and warned for disorderly conduct.
A deputy reported a disturbance at McDonald’s on Covington Avenue on Oct. 30 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Upon arrival, there were several conflicting stories about what happened with no independent witnesses. Two male subjects were warned for disorderly conduct.
Two male subjects were warned for disorderly conduct following a dispute regarding living arrangements on the 1000 block of West North Street on Oct. 30 at approximately 10:40 p.m.
BURGLARY: Juveniles were caught breaking into the former Orr Felt building on Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. and admitted to breaking into the same building last week. The juveniles were charged with burglary.
There was a report of someone breaking into a residence on the 1400 block of Madison Avenue on Oct. 30 sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. The investigation is pending.
SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of juveniles possibly egging a house on the 800 block of Caldwell Street on Oct. 29 at approximately 4:25 p.m. The caller denied any damage to the residence and only wanted a report taken of the incident.
There was a report of a suspicious vehicle being parked in the parking lot of the Paul Sherry RV dealership with its lights on after closing time on Oct. 30 at 12:25 a.m. A vehicle was located occupied by one male subject. The subject was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was incarcerated on the warrant along with additional charges. Brian J. Wood, 35, of Piqua, was picked up for first-degree misdemeanor theft and second-degree misdemeanor possession of a drug abuse instrument.
A caller advised a group of children was approached by a male in a vehicle who asked if they needed rides on the 500 block of Robinson Avenue on Oct. 30 at approximately 5:15 p.m. The caller advised the male drove off after the juveniles did not answer him.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT: A male was bitten by a small dog and had a minor injury on his leg on the 1300 block of Park Avenue on Oct. 29 at 5:30 p.m.
THEFT: A complainant advised she had money stolen out of her vehicle between Oct. 27-29 on the 500 block of Beverly Drive.
Property was reported stolen from a residence on the 200 block of Steele Avenue sometime between Oct. 24-30.
Buckeye Chucks Marathon gas station reported a theft of lottery tickets on Oct. 30, and the theft took place sometime between Sept. 11 and Oct. 30.
A caller reported a theft of money from her residence on the 800 block of High Street on Oct. 31 sometime between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. The caller had a video of the suspect taking the money. Crystal A. Donnelly, 33, address unknown, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor theft in connection with this incident.
ACCIDENT: A driver struck a vehicle while backing out of her driveway in the area of Upway Drive and Young Street on Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. The driver was cited.
ASSAULT: A 10-year-old student assaulted a school bus driver and two bus aides on the way to school in the area of Hancock Street and Brice Avenue on Oct. 31 at approximately 8 a.m. The male juvenile was charged with fifth-degree felony assault and first-degree misdemeanor assault in connection with this incident.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: An officer observed an intoxicated adult male walking on the sidewalk on Nov. 1 at 10 p.m. After he almost fell several times, the officer stopped him and provided him a ride home. He was cited and turned over to his mother. Lawrence L. Beechler, Jr., 53, of Piqua, was cited for disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
A physical disturbance was reported between two female subjects at a residence on the 800 block of North Sunset Drive on Nov. 1 at 10:35 p.m. Signs of a physical altercation were observed, but both sides had conflicting stories. Both females involved were cited. Heather J. Ganger, 40, of Piqua, and Kathy L. Hess, 47, of Piqua, were cited for minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
A caller reported a male subject who walked into the common entry way of a residence on the 500 block of North Downing Street on Nov. 2 at 2:20 a.m. The male was later located and cited. David A. Helton, 46, of Piqua, was cited for minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
