PIQUA — The Piqua Planning Commission recommended an approval of a replat of a section of Deerfield Subdivision during their meeting on Tuesday evening, forwarding their recommendation to the Piqua City Commission.
The Deerfield Homeowner’s Association, Inc. Subdivision submitted a subdivision replat survey of Deerfield Subdivision Section 10 to the planning commission. The replat will redo an existing plat map for a subdivision project in the area of White Tail Lane, Lambert Drive, and Park Avenue that will combine land with a residential lot.
The replat request will move on to the Piqua City Commission for final approval.
Also during their meeting, the planning approved a light industrial/retail/office special use at 517 N. Main St. That property is currently zoned central business district. The applicant requested the special use in order to allow the them to receive flatbed semi-truck deliveries approximately 10 times a year in an alley located behind the property.
The planning commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in commission chambers on the second floor of the municipal building, located at 201 W. Water St.
