TROY — You are not alone if you experience pelvic pain, bloating, or daily discomfort – and relief is achievable for many conditions.
Later this month, Premier Health is hosting a free evening seminar in Troy about pelvic pain. The event is part of the health system’s “Women, Wisdom and Wellness” health initiative.
The seminar will take place Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Crystal Room, 845 W. Market St., Troy. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program at 6 p.m.
Premier Health physician Larry Holland, DO, of Premier Women’s Center will present information about various conditions that cause pelvic pain in women, as well as treatment options.
Dr. Holland and pelvic physical therapist Malia Scheidt will be on hand to answer questions and schedule appointments.
Dr. Holland is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine-Health Sciences in Iowa in 1991 and completed his residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Michigan. He also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecological surgery at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
Dr. Holland serves as robotic surgery physician trainer for Premier Health’s daVinci® Surgical System and is nationally recognized in genetic testing and counseling.
