Piqua police reports highlights


PIQUA — All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

DRUG OVERDOSE: A male subject was found unresponsive in a bathroom on the 500 block of First Street on Oct. 5 at approximately 7 a.m. He was given Narcan and revived by squad. He became combative upon revival. He was transported by squad to UVMC. Charges are pending.

FOUND: A bicycle was found on the 100 block of South Roosevelt Avenue on Oct. 5 at approximately 9 a.m.

A bicycle was found in the woods off of the bike path on South Main Street on Oct. 5 at 12:40 p.m.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A caller advised a male subject was at a residence trying to fight him on the 200 block of Third Street on Oct. 5 at 3:35 p.m. The male subject reportedly destroyed property while he was at the residence before leaving. Travis J. Williams, Jr., 19, of Piqua, was charged with third-degree misdemeanor criminal mischief in connection with this incident.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A juvenile was charged with shooting a BB gun within city limits and shooting at a vehicle, causing minor damage, on the 500 block of Clark Avenue on Oct. 6 at approximately 7:15 p.m. A male juvenile, 13, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor discharging firearms and second-degree misdemeanor criminal damaging.

There was a report of a 13-year-old male kicking the windshield of a vehicle on the 1200 block of East Ash Street on Oct. 6 at approximately 7:25 p.m. A male juvenile, 13, was charged with second-degree misdemeanor criminal damaging.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: An officer came into contact with an adult female at the high school homecoming dance who was asked to leave the event at the Piqua High School on Oct. 6 at 9:40 p.m. The female was arrested. Zah Ryah Franklin, 18, of Covington, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor underage consumption, minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and second-degree misdemeanor resisting arrest in connection with this incident.

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a male subject and female subject physically fighting in the parking lot near Lucky’s Bar on Oct. 6 at approximately 11:55 p.m. Stephanie N. Silvers, 32, of Piqua, was cited for minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.

There was a report of a male subject refusing to leave Lucky’s Bar on Oct. 7 at 10:15 p.m. He was reportedly uncooperative. He was arrested and transported to the county jail. Duane J. Novotny, 66, of Piqua, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal trespass and minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.

DRUG OFFENSE: A male subject was found in a vehicle with suspected drugs and paraphernalia in the area of West High and Walker streets on Oct. 8 at approximately 2:15 a.m. Matthew L. Mulholland, 34, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor possession of a drug abuse instrument and cited for minor misdemeanor possession of marijuana and minor misdemeanor open container in a public place in connection with this incident.
