PIQUA — A man is in the Miami County Jail this weekend thanks to the diligence of a group of bounty hunters and Piqua police.
The bounty hunters arrived in the city on Saturday afternoon and informed Piqua officers that they had tracked a male subject with a nation-wide arrest warrant to house on Covington Ave.
Piqua officers and the bounty hunters converged on 1105 Covington Ave. where they entered the residence and, after an extensive search, located the suspect, Aaron Mullins, 30, attempting to hide in a crawl space.
Mullins was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Miami County Jail where he awaits arraignment.
Specific charges against Mullins or where he is from are no known at this time. It is believed that the bounty hunters had been searching for Mullins for around two years.
