Piqua police reports highlights

PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by the Piqua police reports.

THEFT: A bicycle was reported stolen on the 600 block of W. North Street between 8 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 24.

Two unlocked vehicles were entered overnight on the 400 Pinewood Avenue between 2:30-7 a.m. on Sept. 24. Small amounts of change were reportedly taken from both.

FOUND PROPERTY: Two bicycles were found in the area of E. Main and First Streets on Sept. 24. One was a 26-inch purple and black Next bike. The other was a 26-inch black and gray Hyper Aluminum bike.

There were two skateboards found behind shrubbery at the Piqua Village Apartments on Covington Avenue on Sept. 24.

DISTURBANCE: A woman’s husband allegedly choked her and threw a phone at her on Sept. 24. Joshua Allen, 32, of Piqua was charged with fourth-degree felony domestic violence in connection with this incident.

There was a report of a domestic violence incident on E. Greene Street on Sept. 24 at 2:33 p.m. A male claimed that a known female shoved him and threw shoes at him. The female claimed that the male shoved her and spit at her. The primary aggressor was not determined.

A male and female were reportedly arguing over remotes on the 200 block of Fourth Street on Sept. 25 at 3 a.m. The female was allegedly threatening to throw items outside. The female locked the male out, but was advised that she could not do so as the male lived there.

SEX OFFENSE: A juvenile probation officer reported that female juvenile had stated that she was inappropriately touched by a family member. The report was made on Sept. 24.

BURGLARY: A complainant returned home from work to find that $1,800 in cash and $100 in change was stolen. It occurred on the 900 block of Clark Avenue on Sept. 24 at 12:55 p.m.

MENACING: A male stated that his child’s grandmother attempted to run him over with a vehicle in the park of lot of the social security office on Looney Road on Sept. 24 at 3 p.m.

SEX OFFENSE: An adult female stated that she had been sexually assaulted by an unknown male at an unknown location in the city on Sept. 24 at at 4:50 p.m. at Lock 9 Park on Water Street. The female did not want to pursue with an investigation. She only wanted to be taken home.

SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of two males looking in vehicles on the 900 block of Caldwell Street on Sept. 25 at 2:48 a.m. According to police reports, both were white males and 5’10” tall. One was wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue shorts. The other was wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray shorts.
