TROY — Miami County Sheriff’s Office detectives have filed nationwide felony arrest warrants for burglary against Mark D. Burgin, 38, and Angela C. Roberts, 29, according to Sheriff Dave Duchak.
Both are former Troy residents and are currently at-large, according to Duchak.
Burgin is the suspect in the surveillance video that was released earlier this week for the public’s assistance in identifying him. Both are suspects in several daytime residential burglaries in Monroe, Bethel, and Springcreek townships that occurred over the past two weeks, he said.
Both are also suspects in daytime burglaries in at least two adjacent counties. Burgin is from Kentucky and is also wanted by authorities in there, Duchal said.
He said both suspects are also believed to be using aliases and false identification cards.
Burgin and Roberts are driving a 2002 silver colored Toyota Sequoia with Ohio temporary registration E616164. This vehicle is reported as stolen from Middletown. They may have removed the temporary tag and replaced it with another license plate, according to Duchak.
Both suspects are believed to be operating from Miami County south to Kentucky.
