Hayner announces new movie season

TROY — Everyone needs something to do on a Friday night. Why not go to the movies? Friday Night Movies at the Hayner Center feature classic movies with an introduction to the film, café style seating, and popcorn and soft drinks. All films are free and open to the public.

This season’s series includes:

• “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” — Friday, Oct. 6

• “Bullitt” — Friday, Nov. 10

• “Witness for the Prosecution” — Friday, Jan. 5

• “Splendor in the Grass” — Friday, Feb. 2

• “Stagecoach” — Friday, March 9

These films begin at 7:30 p.m. and are intended for mature viewers and may not be appropriate for children under 13.

The Hayner Center is adding a family film to the new season. On Friday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m., there will be a showing of the animated classic, “Charlotte’s Web.”

Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is located at 301 W. Main St., Troy, OH 45373. Hours of operation are 7-9 p.m. Monday;9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. The Hayner Center is closed on holidays.
