DAYTON — The 131st in a series of the Dayton Music Collectors’ Conventions will be held Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Huber Heights Knights of Columbus, 4293 Powell Road, Dayton.
The convention, which is a music show and sale, will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thousands of recycled, out of print and hard to find phonograph records, CDs, DVDs, tapes and other music-related items will be displayed and offered for sale by dealers from Ohio and other midwestern states. The materials will represent a wide variety of tastes in music.
The public is encouraged to bring records, CDs or other related items they wish to sell to dealers. A door prize drawing will be held at 12 p.m. Admission is $4 or $3 with a coupon available at participating music stores or on the Internet. Children under the age of 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Free parking will be provided.
