LOSTCREEK TOWNSHIP — After a several month long narcotics investigation, Miami County Sheriff’s Office detectives on Wednesday arrested Brad M. Ferryman, 37, of Lostcreek Township for trafficking methamphetamine.

Ferryman was taken into custody without incident and incarcerated in the Miami County Jail, according to Miami County Sheriff Dave Duchak.

Following a search warrant at Ferryman’s residence, detectives seized methamphetamine, scales, packaging materials, numerous firearms, and surveillance equipment, Duchak said. He said detectives also seized methamphetamine packaged for sale, one handgun, and U.S. currency from his vehicle.

Additional charges will be filed after consultation with the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office, according to Duchak.

Ferryman has a host of charges dating back to 2001, including charges for DUIs, receiving stolen property, child abuse/endangering and breaking and entering.
