PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a physical altercation on Pinewood Avenue on June 14 at 6:50 a.m. The primary aggressor could not be determined.

There was a report of a disturbance on Linden Avenue on June 14 at 10:30 a.m. A neighbor was reportedly causing a problem. The neighbor left without incident.

There was a disturbance complaint at Miami Valley Security on North Main Street on June 14 at around 10:30 a.m. An officer spoke with involved parties, and an employee was trespassed from the location.

There was a disturbance complaint at the Red Carpet Inn on Country Club Road on June 14 at around 11 a.m. Customers were reportedly causing a problem and refusing to leave the inn. Officers stood by as both parties gathered their property and left.

A warrant for Chaz J. Scott, 31, of Katy, Texas, for first-degree misdemeanor domestic was requested on June 14.

Joshua T. Badinghaus, 27, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence on June 16.

ILLEGAL DUMPING: An officer responded to an illegal dumping complaint on Garfield Avenue on June 14 at 4:45 p.m. An unknown individual reportedly placed two tires and several pieces of wood into someone’s back yard.

BURGLARY: There was a report of a home burglary on Miami Street sometime between June 2-14. Several items were reported missing.

An officer responded to a burglary complaint on West North Street on June 15. The caller advised an unknown individual went through his garage and stole a drill overnight between June 14-15.

MENACING: A female subject allegedly threatened to assault another female subject on Covington Avenue on June 14 at 6 p.m. Shaneek N. Fogle, 26, of Piqua, was cited for fourth-degree misdemeanor menacing in connection with this incident.

TRESPASSING: There was a report of a subject staggering around in a back yard on Broadway on June 14 at around 9:10 p.m. The subject was gone upon officer arrival. The subject was trespassed from the property.

SEX OFFENSE: A victim reported being raped on June 14. The investigation is pending.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was a report of a disturbance involving three males in the area of East Greene Street and North Main Street on June 15 at 12:30 a.m. They were located and advised that there were walking back to their hotel from the bar. They were told to stop yelling and were warned for disorderly conduct.

Officers responded to a disturbance complaint on South Wayne Street on June 15 at 11:30 a.m. The caller advised a female subject at the residence struck him in the head. Officers spoke with an independent witness who advised all involved parties were causing a scene. The involved parties were all warned for disorderly conduct.

THEFT: A push lawn mower was reported stolen on Washington Avenue on June 15 at 9:30 a.m.

A headlight was reported stolen from a vehicle on Gordon Street sometime between June 13-17.

A complainant advised a customer ate donuts and consumed milk in the bathroom without paying at Speedway on Scott Drive on June 16 at 12:10 a.m. The complainant just wanted the customer trespassed from the business.

ACCIDENT: There was a report of a traffic accident in the area of Renche Street and Covington Avenue on June 15 at 5:15 p.m. The at-fault driver rear-ended another vehicle. The at-fault driver was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

SOLICITORS: A caller said a male subject came into her yard and was begging for money on Linden Avenue on June 15 at 6:20 p.m. She said he then started looking into windows of houses on her street after she told him to leave. The male subject was charged.

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: A caller reported a juvenile damaged her property on West Water Street on June 15 at 9 p.m. The caller did not want him charged and wanted him warned for trespassing.
