PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: An officer was dispatched to a hit skip accident in reference to silver Pontiac Firebird striking a tree on private property and then leaving the scene without reporting it at Walmart on June 3 at 4:15 p.m. Case pending further investigation.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A truck window was busted out on Orr Street on June 3 sometime between 5-6 p.m.
DISTURBANCE: A physical altercation was reported on South Main Street on June 3 at 6:30 p.m. The primary aggressor could not be determined.
A disturbance was reported at Z’s Food and Spirits on June 4 a little after midnight. Alan S. Noe, 32, of Piqua, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
A physical altercation was reported on Cottage Avenue on June 4 at 3:30 a.m. A primary aggressor could not be determined.
There was a report of a disturbance at a residence on Nicklin Avenue on June 4 at approximately 4:30 a.m.
There was a report of several subjects yelling in the rear alley of a residence on Second Street on June 4 at around 1:15 p.m. Once on scene, several subject were observed to be in a yelling match and separated. The subjects were advised to stay separated for the remaining of the evening.
There was a report of a physical disturbance on Wood Street on June 4 at 2:35 p.m. A primary aggressor could not be determined.
There was a report of a disturbance on South Street on June 4 at 5 p.m. It was reportedly a verbal argument.
There was a report of two male subjects fighting at the Shell gas station on North Main Street on June 4 at around 9:40 p.m. Charges are pending further investigation.
UNRULY JUVENILE: A juvenile was warned not to spray an officer with an unknown substance in the area of West Greene Street and Broadway on June 3 at approximately 10:40 p.m. When the officer turned around, the juvenile sprayed the Officer and attempted to leave. The juvenile was charged, and a parent was notified.
BURGLARY: A property owner of a vacant residence on South Street reported on June 3 that it had been possibly burglarized on two separate occasions by way of the rear bay window. Nothing was reported stolen or missing from inside, and no signs of forcible entry was observed. A lawn ornament was reported missing from the back yard.
THEFT: Money was reported stolen from a residence on South Main Street on June 3 at 11:50 p.m.
An officer was dispatched to a theft report from Walmart in reference to a male subject pushing out a cart with a flat screen TV on June 4 at approximately 7 p.m. The case is currently under investigation.
DRUG OVERDOSE: There was a report of a male subject not breathing laying in the yard of a residence on First Street on June 4 at around noon. He had reportedly overdosed and was transported to UVMC by the Piqua Fire Department.
FOUND: A syringe was found on the sidewalk on South Wayne Street on June 4 at 4:30 p.m. It was collected and disposed of.
