Forest Hill plans picnic
PIQUA — Join Forest Hill Cemetery and Arboretum will hold its first Picnic at the Hill on Saturday, June 10, between 4 and 7 p.m.
Gather up a blanket, pack the picnic basket and head on out to the cemetery. Visit a friend or family member, lay out the blanket and have the whole family there to enjoy a picnic. When you’re done take a walk and take in the beauty of the trees and gardens as well as the many different monuments.
The event is free to all, but the cemetery will have a donation box set up by the main office to help support the purchase of a Verdin clock.
YWCA offers Healthy Moves
PIQUA — Dea Davis will lead a new session of Healthy Moves with a four-week session beginning Monday, June 12, from 11 a.m. to noon at the YWCA. New students are welcome.
“The class will focus on improving balance, relaxation and breathing,” said Davis. “The movements will be gentle, smooth and continuous with emphasis on gaining strength and better balance.”

Kids’ dance classes slated
PIQUA — Students 3 years old and up will want to join in a new six-week dance class session beginning Tuesday, June 13. Kendra Melvin, instructor, will help participants learn several dance types which include ballet mixed with jazz and contemporary dance techniques.
Two sessions will be held on Tuesdays: 4:30-5 p.m. for 3-4 year olds and 5:15-5:45 p.m. for students 5 years old and up.

Free show at Hance Pavilion
PIQUA — North Carolina-based rock band Decyfer Down, featuring Piqua native and drummer Ben Millhouse, will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 18, at Hance Pavilion in Fountain Park, 1300 Forest Ave., Piqua. The concert is free.
The band’s radio singles include “Nothing More” and “Anchor Me.” They have performed and toured with artists including Breaking Benjamin, Puddle of Mudd, and Buckcherry, among others, and played events including X-Fest.
