PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports and Miami County Municipal Court records.
ASSIST SQUAD: Officers and EMS responded for a male subject found unresponsive at the residence from a possible drug overdose on Vine Street on May 26 at 7:20 p.m. The male subject was given Narcan but never became responsive. He was transported to the hospital for further treatment. No drug paraphernalia was located at the residence.
Medics requested an officer at an EMS call on Caldwell Street on May 26 at around 10:50 p.m. An intoxicated female subject was refusing to cooperate with them. She was transported to UVMC for an evaluation.
FRAUD: Unknown suspect attempted to open a credit application in the victim’s name on May 26.
THEFT: Local gas station reported a male subject driving off without paying for his fuel at Clark gas station on North Sunset Drive on May 26 at around 8 p.m.
A radio was reported stolen from a vehicle on Young Street on May 26 at approximately 10:30 p.m.
A bicycle was reported stolen from a porch on Walnut Street on May 27 at 12:45 a.m.
Several items were reported stolen from a residence on Gordon Street on May 27 at 10:25 a.m.
Bikes were reported stolen from a yard on South Main Street overnight between May 26-27. Three of the four bikes stolen were recovered later.
Two female subjects reportedly loaded a cart full of food at Walmart that was not bagged and left on May 27 at 3:35 p.m.
FOUND PROPERTY: A cell phone was found on Indian Trails on May 26.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS HARASSMENT: A male subject reportedly called a business on North Main Street and made threats to the manager on May 26 at 11:55 p.m.
ASSAULT: A male subject allegedly head-butted and punched a victim at Speedway on Covington Avenue on May 27 at around 1:15 a.m. The suspect was identified and charged with assault.
DISTURBANCE: A disturbance was reported on Ellerman Street on May 27 at 1:35 a.m. A warrant was requested for a suspect’s arrest in connection with this incident.
There was a report of a disturbance on North Main Street on May 27 at 1:40 a.m. Two people were arguing in an apartment.
There was a report of a disturbance on Glenwood Avenue on May 27 at around 1:40 p.m. Neither party reported violence or threats of violence.
SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of an intoxicated male subject yelling and hitting cars in the parking lot at the Colonial Terrace Apartments on Covington Avenue on May 27 at 2:45 a.m. Upon officer arrival, subjects were spoken with and advised it was only a verbal argument. No violence or threats of violence were reported.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: An officer was dispatched in reference to a criminal damage complaint on Adams Street on May 27. A stereo in a vehicle had been damaged sometime overnight between May 26-27.
Two male juveniles were reportedly seen spray-painting a vehicle on Second Street on May 28 at 9 p.m. The back of the residence had also been spray painted. The juveniles were identified and located.
BURGLARY: A video game system was reported stolen from a residence on Young Street on May 28 at 1:40 p.m.
ANIMAL PROBLEM: There was a report of a dog bite on South Main Street on May 28 at around 3:20 p.m. The victim did not want to pursue charges and only wanted to document the incident.
