PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
TRAFFIC CRASH: A traffic accident was reported on the 8400 block of North County Road 25-A on May 23 at approximately 7:20 a.m. There were no reported injuries.
BAD CHECKS: Paul Sherry Chrysler Dodge reported receiving a bad check from someone who purchased an RV on May 23 at 8:20 a.m.
DISTURBANCE: A disturbance was reported on South Roosevelt Avenue on May 23 at around 10:15 a.m. A male subject was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
A disturbance was reported on East Main Street on May 23 at around 6:45 p.m. It was a civil matter.
An officer was dispatched to a report of a disturbance in the street on Morrow Street on May 23 at 9:45 p.m. An officer spoke to two involved male subjects who advised that the argument was over a group of men being too loud. Most of the involved parties left prior to officer arrival. Both advised that there was no threats or violence.
WARRANT: Officers checked a known address of a suspect with a warrant on Boone Street on May 23 at 6:45 p.m. The suspect was arrested and incarcerated.
DRUG OVERDOSE: A subject reportedly overdosed in Troy and was driven to Piqua on South Street on May 23 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Medics responded. The male subject was revived and taken to UVMC.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: An officer was flagged down at Lucky’s Bar and told there was a female refusing to leave on May 24 at around 12:20 a.m. Officer warned the female for disorderly conduct, and she reportedly refused to calm down. She was arrested and transported to the jail. Further charges pending. Yvonne A. Wood, 50, of Washington Township, was charged with fourth-degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
Brandon S. Turner, 31, of Covington, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor possession of a drug abuse instrument and minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct on May 22.
CRIMINAL DAMAGING: A male juvenile offender, 13, was charged with second-degree misdemeanor criminal damaging on May 22.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A male juvenile offender, 13, was charged with third-degree misdemeanor criminal mischief on May 22.
