PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: The Piqua Board of Education on East Ash Street reported a lock box pried open overnight between April 13-14. Nothing was stolen.
NEIGHBOR ISSUE: A neighbor reportedly approached another resident and yelled at the resident about how he takes care of his dogs on Brook Street on April 14 at approximately 9 a.m. The neighbor was warned for trespassing and told not to go on the other resident’s property.
THEFT: Cash was reported stolen from a vehicle on Chevy Lane overnight between April 13-14.
A subject reported money stolen from him on East Main Street on April 14 between midnight and approximately 4:15 p.m.
WARRANT: A male subject with an active warrant out of Miami County was located on the bike path on April 14 at 1 p.m. He was incarcerated on the warrant.
A male subject with a warrant was found while he was walking in the area of West Water Street and North Roosevelt Avenue on April 14 at 8:15 p.m. He was incarcerated.
ACCIDENT: A traffic accident was reported in the area of Centre Court and Eash Ash Street on April 14 at approximately 2 p.m. There were no reported injuries.
A two-vehicle accident was reported on East Ash Street near Red Lobster on April 15 at approximately 10:45 a.m. There were no reports of injuries. A driver was cited.
UNRULY JUVENILE: An officer was dispatched to a report of two juveniles shooting a pellet gun at passing vehicles on East Ash Street on April 14 at 2 p.m. The officer located the juveniles and the airsoft gun. Both juveniles were charged with unruly juvenile.
There was a report of two white juveniles on the CSX bridge throwing items on April 14 at approximately 3:30 p.m. The area was checked, and no one was located.
There was a report of juveniles running off the dam and into the river on South Main Street near the old Piqua Power Plant on April 14 at 5:50 p.m. The area was searched, and they were not located.
DISTURBANCE: A disturbance was reported on Haverhill Drive on April 14 at approximately 2:30 p.m.
A disturbance was reported on South Main Street on April 14 at approximately 5:15 p.m. A man was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
POSSIBLE DRUG OVERDOSE: An officer was dispatched to a possible heroin overdose in the area of Bridge and East Garnsey streets on April 14 at 3:10 p.m. A male subject was found unconscious. He was administered Narcan and transported to UVMC for further treatment.
SUSPICIOUS: There was a report of subjects jumping out of a moving car and looking into parked cars in the area of South Wayne and South streets on April 14 at approximately 11 p.m. The area was checked, but nothing of note was located.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A reportedly intoxicated man was found laying in a flower bed in the area of West High and North Wayne streets on April 15 at approximately 1:10 a.m. Karl R. Beck, 47, of Piqua, was cited for minor misdemeanor disorderly conduct in connection with this incident.
