PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
FRAUD: A subject reported on March 17 that two authorized purchases were made from the subject’s credit card by an unknown person in California.
TELECOMMUNICATION HARASSMENT: Local business requested a man be warned for trespassing and telecommunication harassment on East Ash Street on March 17 at approximately 10 a.m.
AGENCY ASSIST: An officer assisted the medics with a subject who was assaulted on March 17 at approximately 11:20 a.m. It was discovered the assault occurred in Troy, and dispatch notified Troy police.
An officer assisted Troy police with trying to locate a person possibly involved in an assault case at the Red Roof Inn and Suites on March 17 at 11:40 a.m.
DISTURBANCE: There was a disturbance reported on Haverhill Drive on March 17 at 12:30 p.m. Both involved parties reported violence against the other. Both also had injuries from the incident. One of them was taken to UVMC.
There was a disturbance reported on South Main Street on March 17 at 5:30 p.m.
There was a report of a man outside of Ulbrich’s Market yelling at customers on March 17 at 6:15 p.m. He was located and warned for disorderly conduct.
There was a disturbance reported on Wood Street on March 17 at 9:10 p.m.
There was a disturbance reported on Kitt Street on March 17 at 10:10 p.m.
A man at Rally’s was reportedly causing a problem on March 17 at 10:30 p.m. He was transported home.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A complainant advised someone had driven a vehicle in a tree lawn and had spray-painted an obscene word on the sidewalk on Franklin Street sometime between Feb. 18 and March 17. There are no suspects.
THEFT: A complainant said someone stole scrap metal out of his yard on South Roosevelt Avenue on March 17 at 3:40 p.m. Officer checked local scrap yards and was unable to locate the missing metal.
RECKLESS OPERATION: A driver passed a school bus while its stop sign was activated and students were unloading in the area of North Sunset Drive and Parkridge Place on March 17. The driver admitted fault.
