MIAMI COUNTY — At their meeting Tuesday, the Miami County Commissioners accepted several quotes for projects.
The commissioners accepted a quote for the County Road 25-A resurfacing project, from Troy to Piqua, from John R. Jurgensen, of Springfield. The total cost of the project is not to exceed $1,204,991.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of August.
The board also approved the purchase of five pages in the publication “Discover the Dayton Region,” a community guide featuring attractions, art, and culture in regional communities, in order to promote Miami County. Information about Miami County communities and events will also appear on their website.
The cost of purchasing these pages is not to exceed $6,800.
The commissioners accepted a quote from Tree Care Inc. of Troy for tree removal as part of the Potsdam flood and drainage facilities project at a cost of $4,700.
The board also approved the purchase of billboard advertising space for the Miami County Recycles campaign. The Sanitary Engineering department has been authorized to buy space in West Milton and Covington at a cost of $1,100, as well as space in Troy at a cost of $1,200, for a total cost not to exceed $2,300.
