PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
SUSPICIOUS: A resident reported someone possibly tampering with medication at a residence on Camp Street between March 15-16.
HIT SKIP ACCIDENT: A car reportedly involved in a hit skip accident crashed and flipped on its side on County Road-25A in between Farrington Road and Hemm Avenue on March 15 at 1:50 p.m.
An unoccupied parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle on North Downing Street on March 16 at approximately 2:30 p.m. There was minor damage to the driver-side rear tail light. No evidence was left at the scene.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: There was an assault complaint which ended up as a disorderly in reference to two women arguing in the area of Boal Avenue and South Street on March 15 at 6:30 p.m. Both were given a warning for disorderly conduct.
Officers responded to a report of a disorderly man refusing to leave the property at the Red Roof Inn and Suites on March 16 at 11:30 a.m. The man was warned for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
THEFT: A complainant reported someone stole $60 cash from him on Staunton Street on March 15 at 7:45 p.m.
Items were stolen from a vehicle at the Red Roof Inn and Suites overnight between March 15-16.
A speaker was reported stolen at the Piqua Senior Apartments sometime between March 13-16.
AGENCY ASSIST: Police assisted the squad with a 61-year-old man who passed out at a residence on South Downing Street on March 15 at 10:30 p.m. He was responsive upon arrival and stated he was having difficultly breathing. He did not appear to be under the influence of any drugs and refused treatment from squad due to not having insurance.
DISTURBANCE: There was a report of a disturbance on Camaro Court on March 15 at 11 p.m.
There was a report of a disturbance on Adams Street on March 15 at 11:25 p.m.
There was a report of a physical disturbance at the Red Roof Inn and Suites on March 16 at 3:10 p.m. All parties denied a fight taking place.
There was a report of a disturbance at the Red Roof Inn and Suites on March 16 at approximately 7:20 p.m.
ACCIDENT: There was a report of a one-vehicle accident with injuries in the area of Hemm Avenue and South Main Street on March 15 at 2:20 p.m. Ty A. Hess, Sr., 57, of Piqua, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor OVI in connection with this incident.
There was a report of a two-vehicle accident on West High Street on March 16 at 12:45 p.m.
There was a traffic crash on South Main Street on March 16 at 4:10 p.m. A driver was cited.
