Piqua police reports highlights

PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.

THEFT: A tool bag containing assorted nails and an allen wrench set were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle sometime over last weekend. The theft was reported on Aug. 3.

A tent was reportedly stolen from the 600 block of S. Roosevelt Avenue overnight between Aug. 2 and Aug. 3.

A money order was reported stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Mound Street on Aug. 4.

SUSPICIOUS: A gray and maroon tent was found in a yard on the 400 block of Summit Street on Aug. 3 at 10:52 a.m. The tent did not belong to the resident.

A male was reportedly seen walking with a gun case in the area of E. Ash and Main Streets on Aug. 4 at 4:56 p.m.

DISTURBANCE: Police responded to a report of a two people are arguing at Dunham’s on Ash Street on Aug. 3 at 1:14 p.m. There were no allegations or threats of violence.

A domestic dispute reportedly occurred on the 900 block of Forest Avenue on Aug. 3 at 8:28 p.m.

There was a report of a male and female involved in a physical altercation on the 1100 block of Van Way on Aug. 4 at 6:17 p.m. Police did not determine the primary agressor. The female was trespassed from the residence and taken home.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Piping at an apartment on the 600 block of W. High Street was found to be broken in three different locations on Aug. 3 at 3:50 p.m.

A Troy resident reported that someone had punctured holes in the tires of his vehicle while it was outside of Rue 21 on Ash Street on Aug. 3 at 8:10 p.m.

A vehicle hood was scratched on the 700 block of Gordon Street on Aug. 4 at 12:14 p.m.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A male was reportedly going up to people and asking them for money on the 1600 block of South Street on Aug. 3 at 8:17 p.m. He was warned for disorderly conduct.

A male juvenile reportedly threw firecrackers at a complainant’s son on the 400 block of Kitt Street on Aug. 3 at 9:43 p.m.

BURGLARY: There was a report of a burglary on the 500 block of Robinson Avenue that took place sometime between 8 p.m. on Aug. 3 and 3 p.m. on Aug. 4. Entry was made through an open window in the living room, according to police reports. Multiple DVD’s were reported stolen.

A subject reported that his residence on the 300 block of Home Avenue was entered sometime during the day on Aug. 4. No items were reported stolen.

ASSAULT: Police responded to an assist squad call where female claimed to have been assaulted by another female on the 100 block of S. Roosevelt Avenue at 4:45 a.m. on Aug. 5. The woman did not pursue charges.

WARRANT: Police picked up Piqua resident Derrick K. Bolden, 25, on multiple warrants and driving while under suspension on Aug. 3 at 1:19 p.m. Bolden is facing charges of fifth-degree felony trafficking in drugs, first-degree misdemeanor failure to reinstate license, second-degree misdemeanor criminal damaging or endangering, first-degree misdemeanor obstructing official business, and first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Piqua resident Freddy L. Buss, 26, was arrested for first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence on Aug. 3.
