PIQUA — The following are highlights from the Piqua police reports. All information is provided by Piqua police reports.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE: The side of Cutting Edge on South Street was spray-painted. It was reported on Jan. 2 at 10 a.m.
There was a report of more spray-painted properties on McKinley Avenue, including several images painted on a vacant house and nearby sheds. It reportedly took place sometime between Dec. 27-Jan. 2.
Spray-painted graffiti was found on the side of a couple garages on South Street sometime overnight between Jan. 2-3.
Graffiti was found spray-painted underneath the Shawnee bridge at E. Main Street on Jan. 3 at around noon.
BK Root Beer on South Street was spray-painted with graffiti on several exterior walls and the dumpster sometime between Dec. 21-Jan. 3.
A wall on the Piqua Food Mart on South Street was spray-painted with graffiti sometime overnight between Jan. 2-3.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Two people were warned for disorderly conduct after a report of a verbal argument on South Main Street on Jan. 2 at 12:40 p.m.
MENACING: A subject reported that a vehicle sped up as if it was going to hit the subject while he crossed the street on N. College Street on Jan. 2 at 5:24 p.m.
TRESPASSING: There was a trespassing complaint on Seminole Way on Jan. 2 at approximately 9:30 p.m. The suspect left prior to officer arrival.
There was a report of male subject causing problems at a residence on Fifth Street on Jan. 2 at 10 p.m. The subject was contacted and warned for trespassing.
SUSPICIOUS: An electric four wheeler was found on a resident’s property on Young Street on Jan. 2 at around 9:30 p.m. The resident did not know to whom it belonged. It was taken into police property.
There was a report of shots fired in the area of W. North Street on Jan. 2 at around 10:20 p.m. Officers responded and did not find anything.
THEFT: A pair of prescription glasses were reported stolen at the Piqua Junior High School on Jan. 3. They were taken sometime in the last month.
