City conducting parks survey

Public asked to submit their input

For the Daily Call

PIQUA —The city of Piqua is conducting a Community Interest and Opinion Survey to establish priorities for parks, recreation facilities, and special events in our community. The public is invited to participate in the survey.

The online survey asks only the questions that are most important to the survey objectives. The time you invest in completing the survey will aid in the preparation of a citizen-driven Parks Master Plan that will enrich the future of our community and positively affect citizens and businesses.

You may access the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/piquaregional

Access to the online survey will remain open until Jan. 6. Following this date an independent consulting company selected to administer the survey, Leisure Vision/ETC Institute, will compile the data received and present the results as part of the City of Piqua Parks Master Plan planning process that is currently underway.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact City Planner Chris Schmiesing at (937) 778-2049. The Community Interest and Opinion Survey is a tool that will benefit all residents. Please take this opportunity to let your voice be heard!
