PIQUA — Residents of the Piqua area community help pack meal kits recently for the less fortunate as part of a project sponsored by Western Ohio Thrivent. The event took place at Piqua’s 36 Skate Club and included free skating and pizza.

One hundred twenty kits of green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, bread, a baking pan and foil were assembled, with 95 of the kits going to the Bethany Center for distribution to area families.
