Robber strikes Shell station

PIQUA – Piqua police report an armed robbery took place at the Shell gas station at 600 N. Main Street on Sunday afternoon.

Lt. Dave Thomas said that a man entered the station around 1:30, produced a “stun gun” and demanding money.

The clerk complied and the man left the business on foot. No direction of travel or vehicle were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, in his 20’s to early 30’s and with short blonde hair. He was reportedly wearing a black t-shirt, blue “carpenters-type” jeans and a black Ohio State ball cap.
