Information provided by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office:

June 5

TRUCK STOLEN: A resident in the 8000 block of New Carlisle Road, Bethel Township, reported his truck was stolen. The owner said he was watching TV and heard his truck fire up. He then looked out his front door and saw his vehicle take off down the road.

June 6

TRAILER GONE: The reporting party called to report an old car hauler style trailer was stolen off the property over the weekend in the 1900 block of South County Road 25-A, Troy. The trailer was parked out on the lot and had been sitting there for several years.

WARRANT: A deputy was in the area of South Main Street and Hemm Road in Piqua. The report was for three males being chased from an abandoned building in the area of Clark Ave. and Roosevelt. The deputy headed towards the area and located the suspects running across an empty lot. The deputy noticed one of the males to be Dylan Voisinet and knew he had an active warrant. As the deputy pulled up next to the individuals and Dylan took off running. The deputy gave chase to Dylan in the cruiser and then on foot. Dylan was apprehended a short time later. The other two suspects fled the area and were later caught in the area of Summit Ave and Fisk Street

After processing by Piqua Police Department, Dylan was transported to the Miami County Incarceration Facility and booked in on charges.

June 7

GAS TANK DAMAGE: A sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 7400 block of Bollinger Road, Brown Township, in reference to a theft complaint. Sometime over the weekend a hole was drilled in the gas tank of a vehicle on the property, and all the gas is gone. Also a trailer on the property was broken into and tools were taken from inside. The caller requested extra checks of the area at night and on weekends.

ASSAULT AT THE VAULT: A deputy was dispatched along with the squad to the Vault, 700 block of County Road 25-A, Troy, in reference, to an assault. Prior to our arrival the other male involved had left the area. The male victim was bleeding and was complaining of left arm pain. The victim refused to give any information about who he was assaulted by or why it started. He also refused to be a victim and he voluntarily filled out the form that read he did not wish to pursue any criminal matters relating to this incident.

June 8

TRESPASSING: A deputy was dispatched to a suspicious priority, possible burglary in progress, at the intersection of Peters Road and Monroe-Concord, in Concord Township. A neighbor observed two individuals walking around an old vacant residence. The deputy encountered two juvenile females crawling out from an open window. The had entered the abandoned residence through a broken window at the rear of the property. The owner of the property could not be immediately contacted. The investigation is pending.

SEX OFFENDER VIOLATION: A deputy conducted a random address verification at 1142 Lee Road, Troy, which is the address registered for convicted sex offender, Roman Jacklin, only to find that he had moved out.

CHAIN SAW GONE: A resident in the 5100 block of Alcony Conover, Conover reported his chain saw was stolen.
