PIQUA — An arrest warrant was filed Thursday in connection with a drug search warrant served at a residence last week.
The search warrant was served on the 100 block of Mound Street on May 5. According to Miami County Municipal Court records, officers recovered approximately 15.3 grams of suspected cocaine and approximately 620 grams of suspected marijuana. The alleged drugs, along with prescription pills believed to be a painkiller called Etodolac and an unknown liquid found at the scene, were collected and sent to the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab for further testing.
Other items reportedly found at the scene included cash, digital scales, and a marijuana blunt wrapper.
An adult in the house at the time the incident took place reportedly admitted to coming to the home to purchase marijuana from one of the residents. There were also two children in the home at the time the search warrant was served and the alleged drugs recovered, including a one-year-old and a two-year-old.
A warrant was issued for the resident and alleged drug dealer Oronde E. Clarke, 41, for second-degree felony trafficking drugs and third-degree felony trafficking drugs. Clarke is also facing two counts of first-degree misdemeanor child endangering.
The other resident of the home, Kaytlin D. Stubbs, 22, was also charged in connection with this incident. Stubbs is facing one count of fifth-degree felony permitting drug abuse and two counts of first-degree misdemeanor child endangering. An active warrant for Stubbs’ arrest was also filed Thursday in Miami County Municipal Court.
